The Museum's Noble Planetarium was the first planetarium to be named after a female astronomer, Charlie Mary Noble, a Fort Worth educator of math and astronomy.

The Noble Planetarium’s live interactive program distinguishes it from all other planetariums. Students will have opportunities to interact with our planetarium staff to during presentations and view the most current astronomical events of the day, with plenty of question and answer time at the end. The planetarium also features artifacts for viewing from our collections, a new exhibit area with live views of the sun, meteorite displays, and the immersive ViewSpace program.

Journey with us as we try to unravel the mysteries of the most curious objects in our universe.

Explore the importance of protecting Earth, our only known haven for life. Our journey takes us to the moon, Mars and beyond the Milky Way to explore exoplanets and the possibility that life could be sustained elsewhere in our universe.

Celebrate 400 years of using the telescope. Students will learn how this wonderful instrument has helped us understand our place in space.

This program is adapted for your grade level to present the beautiful constellations available in the night sky at the time of your visit. Our staff can’t wait to tell the stories that have come to us from prior civilizations still sparking imaginations today! Special astronomy events at the time of your visit, such as eclipses, will also be covered.
