BACKGROUND ON THE MAD SCIENTIST BALL

What
Originally founded in 2004 by Fort Worth community leader Carter Martin, this is the seventh annual Mad Scientist Ball, driven by a volunteer committee of community and business leaders. 

The Mad Scientist Ball is the primary annual fund raising event benefiting the Fort Worth Museum of Science and History’s ongoing educational programs.  “Expect the unexpected” has become the underlying idea behind the party, which has made it one of the most popular, sold-out events in Fort Worth.

Fun Fact

The Museum's Noble Planetarium was the first planetarium to be named after a female astronomer, Charlie Mary Noble, a Fort Worth educator of math and astronomy.
